Tequesta is a small village where the Loxahatchee meets the Intracoastal. The houses are often older than Jupiter’s newer courtyards, and the salt comes off the river, not only the Atlantic.

River lots see salt
Houses on the Loxahatchee and toward the Inlet corrode outdoor equipment faster than a lot farther inland. Coil and contactor first.

A float switch that kills the system is a Tequesta call we see. Shut it off if the pan is overflowing.

Country Club, Riverbend, Tequesta Pines, and the streets off Tequesta Drive mix golf, docks, and houses that have already worn out more than one air conditioner. Repair versus replace has to be honest: a mid-century cottage with a tired air handler is not an Abacoa townhouse.
