Installation is for a house that is getting equipment it did not have, or a renovation that changed the load. A straight swap of a tired condenser is a replacement. The two jobs should not share a script.

Size it for this house
A bigger unit does not dry a Jupiter house better. Too much capacity short-cycles and leaves the air clammy. We match the load, the ducts, and the rooms you actually use.

The pad, the drain, and the disconnect matter
A new condenser on a rotten pad, with the old drain still pitched wrong, is a callback waiting. Installation includes those pieces.

When this is an install, not a swap
Additions in Abacoa, a closed porch in Tequesta, a Jupiter Farms barn apartment, a condo that is splitting one system into two. Those are installs. The ducts, the drain, the electrical, and the permit path are designed, not reused from a dead unit.
We size from the house that exists now: glass, ceiling height, west sun, and how many people live there. Copying a neighbor’s tonnage is how Jupiter homes end up cold and clammy.
What the coast adds to a new system
Near the Inlet, the Intracoastal, Juno Beach, or a North Palm Beach canal, the outdoor unit needs a coil and a cabinet that can live in salt air. Inland, in much of Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter Farms, the harder problem is duct length and attic heat.
Town of Jupiter and Village of Tequesta permits apply when the job requires them. We say which office matches the address instead of waving at permits in general.

Is a new heat pump an installation or a replacement?
If we are removing a full system and setting another in its place, that is a replacement. If the space never had equipment, or the renovation needs a new zone, that is an installation.
